The Maison de l'Inde is now going through a process of renovation to ensure better security of the residents and improve living conditions.

  • The salle Indira Gandhi and the corridors of each floor are are being made fire and smoke proof.

  • The number of exits from the building is being increased to follow security norms.

  • The kitchens are being enlarged with proper security.

  • A seperate unit accomodating the computer and the library facilities is being set up.

  • The hi-tech WIFI is introduced for the whole building.

  • The facade is also being repaired partially during the first phase.

  • A broad all round second phase is underway this year.
